The Orlando Health South Lake Hospital expansion added a new five-story patient bed tower to the existing acute care facility — significantly increasing capacity with approximately 95 additional beds and expanded ICU and women’s health services. PS was subcontracted to supply and install the exterior glazing systems, including curtainwall and high-performance insulated window assemblies, engineered to meet the hospital’s thermal, air/water performance, and long-term durability requirements. The work required precise coordination with structural framing, enclosure interfaces, and field tolerances in a phased construction environment where the campus remained operational throughout the build. PS’s glazing installation contributed to a robust, energy-efficient exterior envelope that supports the expanded facility’s operational performance and continuity of care.
