Mayo Clinic – Vertical Patient Expansion

The 2023 Mayo Clinic Patient Tower Expansion in Jacksonville added a new wing and multiple floors of modernized patient care space, increasing inpatient capacity and supporting oncology, neurology, and surgical services. PS was subcontracted to supply and install the exterior glazing systems, including high-performance curtainwall, punched-opening windows, and insulated glazing units engineered for hospital-grade thermal efficiency, air/water resistance, and long-term façade durability. The integration of new glazing with the existing tower required detailed anchorage coordination, precise tie-in transitions, and careful sequencing to maintain continuous weather protection in an active clinical environment.
