The new North Carolina DHHS Headquarters is an 11-story state office tower constructed as part of a multi-building campus consolidation effort designed to modernize agency operations and improve workplace efficiency. PS was subcontracted to provide the exterior glazing systems, including high-performance curtainwall, insulated vision glass, and punched-opening window assemblies engineered for thermal control, air/water resistance, and long-term durability required for a government facility. The project demanded precise coordination of anchorage, slab-edge transitions, and façade interface detailing across a tight construction footprint, along with phasing considerations for the adjacent parking structure and central utility plant. PS’s installation delivered a robust, energy-efficient glazed envelope that supports the building’s operational needs and contributes to its long-term performance and architectural character.
